  Stawell Park Caravan Park was an awsesome place to come to after a dissapointing experience elsewhere. It is far enough from town to give a rural feel while being close enough so if you need to buy drinks it's just a 10 minute drive in, the park is nicely spread out and there is plenty of space, the sites are spaced apart so you actually have space to stretch, We went in peak season around New Year's even and were the only ones camping. Had a great experience with the very very friendly and supportive owners. Nice walking tracks at the back and in general a very goood place. Owners are very friendly and have a nice sense of humour. The only downside if any is that they don't allow campfires at all. Which is a bummer wish they atleast allowed fires in a designated pit... But anyway great place to go. Highly recommended.
